Building Democracy/Electoral ReformI support the strongest Election Reform. There should be a level playing field for all candidates and the entry to political candidacy should not be the size of your pocketbook. Neighborhoods are the building blocks of our City and every avenue to obtain grassroots support on what is desired by neighborhood residents should be given an opportunity of expression. Currently several neighborhoods are underrepresented in the power structure. Due in part to the uneven distribution of polling places. As Mayor I would insure that all neighborhoods have an equal voice in choosing our elected officials.
